Our Trip to Vermont

By 9:00am Thursday morning we were on our way to Vermont with an over night stop at Nicole's sister's house just outside of Boston, 2 cars, Brian and Nicole's and Ours, thank goodness for cell phone's and GPS. Here's Brian, Nicole with Buddy and Bandit waiting to get on the Cape May-Lewes Ferry. No that's not the real ferry just a replica!

Here's a shot that Brian took of us loading on to the ferry, they were right behind us, it was a 90 minute crossing I think?? and got a little choppy midway across. But it was a beautiful day blue skies and low humidity.
Bandit enjoying the wind in his hair um, ears. It was a good start to what turned out to be long day! Oh almost forgot we were entertained by Dolphins during the ferry crossing. All except for Charlie who disappeared below deck for a quick nap.

The 10 hour drive ended up taking about 12 hours and we got seperated in New York City of all places, Brian's GPS rerouted him through Brooklyn and we managed to stay on the Interstate, but even with Brian's little detour they still managed to arrive a head of us in fact Charlie and I ended up checking into a hotel about 2 hours away from Boston, we were pooped, not as young as we used to be that's for sure!
