Jack the jumping Mule

Jack was a part of the Heritage Days, and it was really cool to watch, because unlike horses who need some distance to jump, mules just walk right up to it and jump from a stand, they just kept making the bar higher until Jack said no way, pined his ears and backed away. Great Job Jack!

Heritage Days

Today was Heritage Day at Chesapeake City Park, it was a lot of fun, they had Sheep herding, which was amazing, I also learnt that not all sheep have wool some have hair and shed, like these ones in the pictures.

They also had a straw maze! Which I thought would be easy, but it took two tries for Jordan to find her way out.
Civil war reenactors, my personal favourite, and much more which I will post later. Posted by Picasa

Farmer's Market

Yesterday Grace and I went to Farmer's Market in Virginia Beach, it had been years since the last time I went there, it has not changed very much. There were not many people there at all, I guess mid week and morning and the fact that school as started back made for a quieter place!
But it was a fun morning taking photos and being with a good friend who enjoys the same things that I do.
This place had the BIGGEST pumpkins! They were huge!

Farmer's market has lots of neat stuff to take photos of, altogether I took 80 photos!

After Farmer's Market we drove back to Chesapeake and met up with two other friends for lunch at Pasha's a Turkish/Mediterranean restaurant which is high on our list of favourites! YUM!
