The Nerve of that Cat!

This morning I was busy getting stuff ready for our trip to Vermont when I noticed that Fitch ad been frozen in place at the den door for about 30 minutes maybe longer, anyway when I checked it out this is what I saw, a staring contest between Fitch and one of the barn kitty's! Fitch usually is not this tolerant of cats on his front porch,
but for some reason he was really sizing this one up, the cat stayed frozen to the spot just staring at Fitch, "Please let me in its cold out here" then the cat started to move across the porch that was all that was needed Fitch's tolerance level was suddenly a big fat zero! If he could have gone through the door he would have, the cat strolled leisurely away to wards the barn, Woolf, Woolf said Fitch (translation: "and stay there")

All I want for Christmas

The Kids, Jordan & Rachel came over to the house today and I realised I was about to by pass a photo moment! Rachel is missing her two front top teeth which I have known about for some time, when she smiled at me today I realised that two were very rapidly coming in and will probably be completely in by Christmas, not about to miss this once in a lifetime opportunity I grabbed the camera and snapped a couple of photos.
Wish I could look this good with out any teeth!

Trunk or Treat

Our 2nd annual Trunk or Treat at our place, not sure how many people we had, Charlie guesstimated about 200! It was a lot of fun, Jason & Rick & crew set up the trails for the haunted hayride earlier in the day which was great fun, they truly out did themselves.
We started the evening with soup and cornbread and then the kids Trunk or Treated and then we hit the trails, the haunted ones, they also set up an outdoor movie theatre for the kids to watch movies while they waited to go on the hayride. Which was such a great success that we are thinking about having a drive in movie night this summer.

Rachel the cat..cute huh! Meow
We had two trailers going for the hayride and it was full every time..Lee drove one and Tom and Charlie took turns driving the other one. I got to ride once with the grand kids and it was really, really scary!!

Jenn and Rachel handing out candy with lots of help from Jill.....

Ryan the monkey! Thats a banana hanging out of his pocket, David and Jenny were dressed as Zoo keepers, so cute!

3 Cheers for Chloe

This morning I was able to go to watch Chloe Cheer, yeah 3 cheers for Chloe she did such a good job!

Our Cowgirl Daughter!

Halloween night we did our usual thing at the Schlossers, they have a small party/get together in their court, its fun for adults that have no kids to take Trick or Treating. We have food and candy and a small enclosed fire to keep us toasty. Leah came by this year and looked really cute so had to snap a couple. Chris and Kandice also stopped by with the kids which is wonderful and they always look so cute.
