The Billings Farm, Vermont

This was the 2nd farm we stopped at, it was totaly different from Sugarbush this one had been donated to the State by the Billings family and was run by the state, it was $11 per person to get in and the tour took several hours. It was a dairy farm as you might have guessed from the pictures. It was very interesting but I dont think I would pay the 11 bucks for a 2nd tour. The Cow at the very bottom of this page is Sasha and she was expecting her 13th calf, poor thing. They breed the cows every year of their adult life to keep them producing milk. Something to think about next time you drink a glass of milk!
