Okay here's another one for you....can you identify this plant and is it edible?
Clue # 1- I have no idea what it is
Clue # 2 we are visiting our daughter Sarah and family in Indiana
Clue # 3 Adam is holding it in the first pic
Clue # 4 Charlie broke it in half (took quite a pounding)
Clue # 5 its larger than a tennis ball
Clue # 5 its larger than a tennis ball So come on what do you think it is and oh, by the way I have no idea so at this point in time you could tell me anything and I would have to take your word for it!!

It's called a Hedge Apple, or an Osage Orange. Eating it can make you sick. It is mostly used now as a spider repellent, though it didn't work very well in our basement.
