This past Saturday I was really looking forward to seeing some pirates! at the Elizabeth City Potato Festival, unfortunately there were only a couple of pirates and some fries! Disappointed? You bet! There were plenty of old cars and vendors selling stuff even homemade bags to store potatoes in but the only potatoes we saw were french fries.
It was also very hot so we made our way over to the Museum of the Albermarle and surprise its a wonderful museum and free! Well they suggest a donation which we were happy to give just to get cool!

I have been reading a book she has put been putting together with all of your correspondence. It has been so fun to see your progress, and to read about the Ashby family.
