Lions & Tigers & Bears..Oh, No!

Yes we went to the Zoo today! I love the Zoo and of course I had my camera with me, the first photo was of my favorite exhibit!

And check out that tongue on the Giraffe. The weather was perfect for the Zoo, not too hot, zero humidity a nice breeze, a perfect weather day.

Weekend Travels

This past weekend we loaded up the car and headed to Indiana for our Granddaughter, Rachael's 3rd birthday, there was Charlie & I, David, Jenny & Ryan we were a car load for a 12 hour drive! We stopped to eat, potty and to take care of Ryan, these two photos were taken at a place called Grand View in West Virginia. Ryan's so cute and he looks just like his Daddy! I ad forgotten what it was like to travel with a almost 3 month old, (I didn't think you ever forgot those things) Ryan did really well probably better then his grandparents did.

Rachael's birthday well worth the 12 hours in the car, it was great to see her and Adam again, this will be the only time she will ever get to celebrate her Birthday the same time as Easter. She is growing up so fast and is such a little girl, girl she loves all the dress up Princess clothes and Dora the Explorerer is a favorite. Sarah made her cake and did such a great job of course it was a Dora cake! Happy Birthday Rachael.

Home Sweet Home

For those of you who will probably never come East and see our home I thought I would take some quick photos so you can get a feel for where we live, top is the house (center) to the left is the barn and to the right is the cottage house where Jenn, Lee and family live. No the trees dont grow leaning in Chesapeake, I guess I should explain...last Christmas Charlie gave me a fish eye lens for Christmas and I have had so much fun with it! This seemed like a good time to use it as you can see MORE then with a normal lens.

Aunt Leah & Ryan

David, Jenny & Ryan came by after Church today, we had a house full of grandkids, Jordan & Rachel were there too. Its so good to have a full house! When Ryan woke up, (he fell asleep during Relief Society) Leah gave him his bottle and they snuggled up for a good burp, (Ryan did all the burping) grandma caught him on camera just as he was ready to drift back into dreamland.
