Spring is Here?

Yes, finally the first sign of Spring, can't wait for warmer weather although our winter has not been too bad this year, I am diffently a warm weather person so roll on Spring & Summer! Can't wait to pack away the woolly hats. scarfs and mittens, get out the bathing suits and head for the beach!

NADAC Trail

Jordan & Fitch competing at their first Trail, we had entered Fitch in three runs but he was elimintated from 2 for lifting his leg in the ring, when you gotta go, you gotta go, poor Jordan but at least they came home with a first place ribbon for one of his runs. Jordan had a busy day she was also running one of Rita's (her instructor)dogs , Billy Bob a Beagle a Real Dog as Rita calls them, they had one qualifying run that day and Rita gave Jordan the ribbon.

I would like to say that it was a beautiful dry sunny day, but we woke up to rain, buckets of it and cool temps. The judge delayed the event by 2 hours and by then the rain had cleared the thunder & lightening had moved on...but it was still freezing cold and overcast. Nevertheless we survived to run another day! Well done Jordan.

Mudding

Leah (Our daughter the baby in the family) and her really good friend Lauren, they had been out riding in the woods behind our house, actually it was not muddy at all but being the resourcefull teens that they are they carried buckets of water back into the woods, saturated the trails and went riding!

The Eagle has landed

An Eagle in the neighborhood, yes we have eagles in Chesapeake! Not a very good photo but this is as close as he would let us come to him/her, he was feeding on a dead deer

A walk in the woods

As most of you know we live out in the country, at least it used to be that way, its changing everyday. But we still enjoy walks around the Soybean field and through the woods with kids and dogs in tow, this is a photo of our daughter Jennifer, granddaughter Jordan our dog Fitch, yes that rymes with *$#?^# and Jordans dog Jill.

Ryan our newest grandson!

The Newest addition to the Anderson Clan, our latest grandson, (we were in dire need of more little boys) Ryan David Anderson, proud parents: David & Jenny. Ryan was born December 27, 2007 and is growing fast!
