Wild Horse Wednesday

Visitors for breakfast...the Penny's Hill herd visits us at least once every year. Today was the day. They come up to the front porch and graze and fertilize our front yard.

Our First Day at OBX

The Beginning of our family vacation at the OBX, hope to post a little each day so check back often. So what did we do today, mostly just hang out enjoying the sun, surf and sand.

Good Food, Good Friends, Good Times, Great Memories

Why do my Photos always upload backwards! Oh! Well! Hopefully everyone will get the idea.
I went to lunch today with, Peg, Grace, Liz & Emilio and Sydney we went to Tida Thai, wonderfull food. A goodbye hug from Syd before she goes off to Alaska and then BYU, we will miss you Syd, but we have the winter to look foward to, more Thai and Sushi food.

Harbinger Lavender Farm

Yesterday we drove down to Harbinger, NC for the Lavender Farm's Open House, there was Grace, Myself, Liz & Emilio, and Peg, we had a good time taking photos, picking lavender and making lavender wands. On the way home we stopped at Mel's Diner for a BBQ lunch, yum! All in All it was a very good day with friends.

Memorial Day

We spent most of Memorial catching up on chores around the house and yard, Charlie finished most of the work on our deck and Gazebo, it looks really good can't wait for the pool to be open so we can really use it, maybe pictures when everything is complete. Late after noon we packed up the cooler with goodies and headed out to Little Island Park at Sandbridge, it was a little after 4 when we arrived I had figured by that time most everyone would be gone or in the process of leaving I was almost right, we got a picnic table with out any problems we got a cool suprise they have completely rebuilt the play area, it is really nice and the kids enjoyed it. Isabella, Chloe and Elijah.

This kid is going to be a really great soccer player can you tell? He has some really cool moves for a 16 mth old!

The weather was a lot cooler then we expected, it was quite warm when we left the house but at little chilly by the ocean. I guess because it was a little on the windy side.
