Sat and Sun

Sat morning we drove over to Boulder, did some shopping etc, by the time we left Boulder it was snowing.
Later we splashed around in the pool, there's something about sitting in the hot tub watching the snow come down!

The reason for our trip... King's Blessing day!

Denver Day 1

This cute little guy is the reason four trip to Denver! Our newest grandson, King Sterling Anderson.

Our first full day in Denver we went to the Children's Museum, while it was fun and interesting it was not what we expected from their internet ads, we were a little disappointed

Two cousins getting to know each other, Landon and King

Our Winter Vacation...the journey

I am writing this from Denver day 4 into our trip, you see I am already doomed behind before I ever get started! My plan was to end each day of this trip with a note and at least one photo to my Blog, so easy in theory but so hard in reality! So here I go catching up before we leave to go home next Thursday.

We had a wonderful trip out, Leah and I were both worried how Landon would handle the flight(s) he did great, slept and looked out of the window he is a real little jet setter.

Deck The Halls

Usually we wait until the day after Thanksgiving to put up the tree and decorate for Christmas, but this year Leah was excited for Landon's First Christmas and so we decided to put at least the tree up early! So yesterday we unpacked everything dragged out our tree which we realized is now getting on in years (1994) Leah was five when we bought our first artificial tree! Its done well.
Landon was in awe of the tree, I am sure if he could talk he would have said something along the lines of, "what a tree in the house?"
He loved the lights and of course putting his very first decoration on the tree!

So now in the mood for the season we went ahead and decorated the rest of the downstairs so now its done and I can sit back and enjoy...I wish still shopping and wrapping to do and oh yes baking for Thanksgiving.
